Remote Observations – Feebris

Our team supports Care Home staff with a digital solution called Feebris for remote observations.

The system can be accessed via a user-friendly mobile application, that works in any location environment with or without internet connectivity! Or alternatively, the system can be accessed via the web browser portal.

Feebris collates the captured data to provide a risk score based on the NEWS2 framework, empowering Care Home staff to improve residents’ outcomes.

The kit is the same as what has been procured for the Virtual Wards in Norfolk & Waveney, consisting of:

  • Pulse Oximeter (with respiration rates)
  • Digital Stethoscope
  • Blood Pressure Cuff
  • Digital Thermometer
  • Android Device

The Benefits

  • The web browser portal provides access to key health insights for GPs and other health professionals – GPs can access and review prior to attending a care home, as well as triaging patients to the correct services and support
  • Reduction in GP call-outs – the captured data to provide a risk score based on the National Early Warning Score (NEWS2) Framework, empowering Care Home staff to improve residents’ outcomes
  • Empower Care Home staff to monitor residents’ health – this will provide GPs more resource and time to review resident observations without the need to visit the care home
  • Training sessions and support is provided, ensuring staff are confident in using the equipment and the dashboard – we work with both the Care Homes and their associated GP Practices
