An online workshop which has been designed in collaboration with Cancer Support Workers, Cancer Navigators and Cancer Coordinators, improves the skills of those working in supportive cancer care. It includes an understanding of the pathophysiology of cancer, health inequalities in cancer care, cancer treatments and sides effects, cancer terminology, screening programmes and barriers on engagement, and has a strong emphasis on communication and psychological barriers.
