Norfolk and Suffolk ICB do not routinely commission liposuction for cosmetic purposes or in the treatment of lymphoedema or lipoedema

Individual funding requests may be considered for treatments of diabetic injection sites, post-traumatic disfigurement, extravasations of chemotherapy and for contouring areas of localised fat atrophy.

Cases for Individual Funding Consideration

On a case to case basis, patients might be eligible for surgical intervention, in consideration of their exceptionality. The requesting clinician must provide information to support the case for being considered an exception, by submitting an individual funding request.
