Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board (ICB) do not routinely commission or fund hair replacement, hair transplant or grafting.

There are many types of hair loss with different symptoms and causes. In certain circumstances, people may be eligible for free or reduced cost wigs on the NHS. More information on buying wigs and NHS policy is available at the link below:

Cases for Individual Funding Consideration

On a case to case basis, patients might be eligible for surgical intervention, in consideration of their exceptionality. The requesting clinician must provide information to support the case for being considered an exception, by submitting an individual funding request.
