Neurostimulation is a low priority treatment. The Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board (ICB) do not routinely commission this treatment and it will only be considered on a case by case basis. This policy does not apply to neurostimulation for indications commissioned by NHS England or covered by NICE TAs.

Cases for Individual Funding Consideration

On a case to case basis, patients might be eligible for surgical intervention, in consideration of their exceptionality. The requesting clinician must provide information to support the case for being considered an exception, by submitting an individual funding request.
