Health Inequalities Resources Hub – under construction
Welcome to Norfolk & Waveney’s Health Inequalities Resources Hub
Health inequalities are unfair and avoidable differences in health between different groups of people. These differences are often linked to things like where people live, how much money they have, their background, or the discrimination they face.
This hub is designed to support Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System’s workforce to reduce health inequalities. Whether you’re working in the voluntary, community, faith, or social enterprise sector, healthcare, local government, or another sector entirely, the hub offers a range of materials to keep you informed and learning.
The goal of the hub is to make it easier for you to:
- Understand health inequalities and what it means for people
- Explore evidenced approaches to support you to reduce health inequalities
- Learn from others through case studies and a community of practice private area
- Explore intelligence about health inequalities in specific places or populations.
Whether you are working in a frontline role or a more strategic one, this hub brings together trusted information, guidance, and inspiration all in one place.
Let’s work together to make health fairer for everyone.
We’re always keen to make improvements, so if you have any feedback or suggestions, please email: nwicb.healthinequalitiesconversation@nhs.net
